Journey with the Crown

Wow where do I begin?  I am so incredibly blessed to have amazing family and friends that support all my dreams, especially my dream of becoming Mrs. America.   I can't believe I am leaving in less than 2 weeks.  Looking back over a year ago this is exactly where I was hoping and planning to be!  I am proud to say I reached all my goals I had set thus far.   After having my 2nd child, I was working hard at getting my body back and preparing for interview.  Not only was I able to lose the 50 pounds I had gained from pregnancy, I grew as a person from working with Wendi Russo on personal developement and branding.  This is what I love so much about pageantry.  One always learns  something new about themselves and  grows as an individual and in time one becomes the best version of self, which results into being a great role model for the community.   #WINNING!

As Mrs. Wisconsin, God has opened so many doors for me when it comes to sharing my platform "Breaking the Isolation on Mental Illness."  I have had the opportunity to team up with NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) as their national spokesperson to share my families story  to over 2,000 people and counting (veterans, teens, adults) and to over 5 radio stations across the state of Wisconsin.    I want to be that voice to give families hope that there is help and that they are not alone in this battle by educating, creating awareness of signs and symptoms of this invisible disease.

Also be on the look out for some big things that we have planned with my foundation I started last December "It's Your Day."   We have some great events coming up and are super excited to share them with you!   The Ronald McDonald House Princess/Prince themed event was a huge success and it made my heart smile when I saw the little girls faces light up with a smile and the boys hide their laughter as our Disney Princesses crowned them.  Being apart of that was something I will never forget and I can't wait to have more children that are not feeling well enjoy a day as a regular kid!

As stated above, I am leaving in less then 2 weeks for Mrs. America.  This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I am so incredibly honored to represent Wisconsin at the national pageant.  I would be so grateful for all your prayers and support during the upcoming weeks. The pageant will be live streamed on the internet.  I will provide the link once I receive it.  Since the pageant is taking place in Las Vegas on August 25th Prelims and August 27 Finals, many of you are not able to come support me in person. That is ok because you can support me by voting in the  Fabulous Face contest.  Contest runs until August 19th. The winner with the most votes and money raised AUTOMATICALLY ADVANCES to the TOP 15 for the Mrs. America title!!!! This is such a special opportunity because most of the proceeds go to an amazing cause; Victoria’s Voice Foundation. The Foundation: activity works to raise awareness about substance abuse, and support youth and families in overcoming experimentation and addiction. To vote go to, click the Fabulous Face tab & vote for me, Tiffany Konecko Mrs. Wisconsin! *Votes are $2.50 each-NO Limits on the number of votes. The more you vote the more money raised!
