Designer Laurel Dewitt unveils her Spring/Summer '17 collection with Art Hearts Fashion at Angel Orensanz Foundation on September 14th. The seasoned designer and artist really pushed the limits and boundaries with her breathtaking avant-garde fashions as each model stepped out on the runway. Laurel's creativity and unimaginable designs exemplify the type of inspiration we all strive to achieve and gave those watching a chance to find their inner queen (or king) after showcasing her beautiful crowns and headdresses!
The inspiration for her new collection was inspired by March.April.Mae , months that are known to bring the world freshness and reminds us that warmer weather is just around the corner. Each piece that hit the runway displayed fancy metal hand-crocheted creations that were sexy, classic, contemporary and iconic. The runway was in full bloom and ready for the warm months to break through the cold chill in the air as her entirely hand-cut, hand-rolled colorful metal flowers made their appearance down the runway. Laurel's dedication to her art and fashion flourished with this new collection and had cameras flashing from around the room, capturing the beauty of her sparkling creations that created A WOW FACTOR!
Many of her elaborate masterpieces have been seen on well-known celebrities: Alicia Keys, Amber Rose, Beyonce, Brandy, Carmen Carrera, Cyndi Lauper, Dascha Polanco, Fifth Element, Kelly Rowland, Khloe Kardashian, Lady Gaga, Laverne Cox, Lenny Kravitz, Nicki Minaj, Steve Aoki, Swizz Beatz, Usher, Vanessa Hudgens to name a few. In addition, she has designed handbags and accessories for many famous fashion designers such as Kenneth Cole Reaction, Juicy Couture, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, and Oscar de la Renta Intimate Apparel and can be found at major retail stores.
